Narrative Summary:
Since the project site is located near the river, the starting point of the design was to ensure all of the residential buildings took advantage of water views. Based on the existing building orientation, space surrounding the existing buildings, and the line of sight, a dot style plan with three-houses in one floor will be used for the residential complex. The plan is rotated 15 degrees to the south, so there will be clear views to the water from the new residential buildings.
Commercial buildings will be centrally located along Yazhan Road and the residential area will serve as the backdrop for the commercial strip facing the street. By locating commercial buildings along the main street, a rich streetscape texture will be created, increasing the value of the land. The design makes full use of the terrain elevation difference along the riverside road, forming half-underground space where residential buildings will be built on stilts, making the ground and green roofs a single entity.
