2024 The Netherlands Future Green City
The Future Green City 2024 conference, organized by the Utrecht City Government, the Royal Dutch Association of Municipal Engineering (Stadswerk), and the Royal Dutch Association for Landscape and Horticulture (VHG), will be held from September 23 to 26, 2024. In collaboration with the World Urban Parks (WUP) and the International Federation of Municipal Engineering (IFME), the conference will gather more than 3,000 experts in green and civil engineering from around the globe to share theories and practices related to sustainable green cities.
The conference integrates architecture, greening, infrastructure, and water resources, presenting various solutions through a multi-disciplinary approach to collectively build the "City of the Future." The event offers a variety of activities, including keynote speeches, field trips, workshops, and film screenings, with a focus on key issues such as urban greening, water resource management, and urban resilience. Professor Yu Kongjian, an academician of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and Dean of College of Architecture and Landscape at Peking University, will deliver the keynote speech.
