Kongjian Yu Spoke at University of Waterloo Special Lecture: Climate Resilience Inspired by Monsoon Culture

Kongjian Yu will deliver a special lecture titled “Climate Resilience Inspired by Monsoon Culture” on October 24, 2024. In this presentation, Professor Yu will introduce the concept of "Sponge Cities" and elaborate on how to build resilient urban ecosystems by integrating traditional Chinese wisdom with modern landscape design. This lecture will provide students and faculty at the University of Waterloo with a valuable opportunity to engage with a global leader in landscape design and explore visions for sustainable future cities.

The lecture will last 60 minutes and is open to the public.
