Qunli Stormwater Park

Abstract：
Qunli is a new urban district in the eastern outskirts of Haerbin City, in northern China, a region where dramatic wet and dry seasons alternate. To cope with the considerable water accumulated and dispersed by impermeable concrete urban surfaces, urban planning must create “green sponge areas” in order to filter and store urban stormwater.
