Quzhou Luming Park

Abstract：
Located on the Shiliang River’s west bank, on the outskirts of the densely popu lated city of Quzhou, the park aims at transforming a desolate and neglected land – a typical “primary landscape residue” generated by rapid urbanization and bounded by urban highways – into a playful and productive environment, suitable for sport and other recreational activities. The project fully enhances the landscape’s natural and cultural elements, while respecting topographic complexity by smoothening the 20 meters’ difference between the floodplain and the city.
