Project Profile

1. Project Statement

This landscape reconstruction project is a successfully changed the existing restricted landscape to a modern, ecological, and interactive landscape design. The environment is designed to offer the students a comfortable outdoor space that also functions pragmatically.

2. Objective and Challenge

The design of Central Party School of C.P.C had to meet many design challenges, including ecological and culture aspects, the most important being its cultural and historical significance. The most suitable way to show the culture of the campus was through the framework of exology, and the textures and and feeling of the courtyard represents this well.

3. Design Strategy

1) Conserve the existing plant community on site, which helps to cut the cost and offer better landscape and ecological impact.

2) No concrete used in stabilized stream bank, retaining the natural meanders of the stream

3) Design of ecological shoal or island offers function as well as ecological benefits to campus.

4) Sandlot created for stormwater harvesting and filtering, with aquatic plants for water purification and animal habitat.
