Project Profile


1. Project Statement

The site is located in Beidaihe District of Qinhuangdao City, which used to be Daqing nursing home. It is about 260m from north to south, 300m from east to west at its longest, covering an area of 6.8 hectares. 

2. Design Strategy

The site is almost flat with a large amount of trees and some dilapidated buildings, and there are two ponds on the east and west side of it. For taking full advantage of the existing resources of the site and complying with the principles of ecological design, the project has reserved the previous structures and vegetation to carry on the historical significance the site hosts.

3. Conclusion

The project respects the site's resources and adheres to ecological design principles, preserving existing structures and vegetation to continue the historical significance carried by the site.
