Project Profile

1. Project Statement

This project is located in Shizigou Scenic Area, Mancheng County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. The design site is within the Shizigou Scenic Area, 15 kilometers northwest of Chengshen Town in Mancheng District. The entire scenic area is 18 kilometers long.

The design includes three areas: the south and north entrance service centers and the original RV campground. The functions include the south and north entrance service centers, a comprehensive exhibition hall, a restaurant, passive demonstration houses, a beehive structure, and an outdoor swimming pool.

2. Objective and Challenge

The project is located in the scenic Shizigou area, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, filled with persimmon trees and various other fruit trees, creating a pleasant ecological climate. The overall theme is "A Stone City at the Foot of Taihang Mountain, a Peach Blossom Land in Shizigou." The design aims to create a human-centered, eco-friendly, and distinct vacation destination.

3. Design Strategy

The site is terraced mountain land, and the buildings are integrated with the terrain. Modern technology is used in traditional ways to connect the buildings with the landscape, minimizing environmental impact.

At the foot of the mountain, the buildings are primarily for reception and services. The mid-mountain area focuses on residential and experiential buildings, while the mountain top features purpose-driven structures, forming a cohesive architectural community within an organic ecological environment.

4. Conclusion

This project integrates the buildings with the terraced mountain landscape, using traditional methods with modern technology to minimize environmental impact. The result is a unique, professional, and economical "Persimmon Realm" plan that reflects the local character. It provides residents with a leisurely lifestyle and creates an irreplaceable cultural landmark for the city. For visitors, it offers not only an enjoyable journey but also a rich cultural experience.
