Project Profile

The project site is located in Sanya Yuechuan New City, adjacent to Jinji Ridge Park in the west, separated from Donghe Park in the east, and overlooking Gouling Countryside Park to the southeast. As part of Sanya’s new development trend, this project plays a pivotal role in radiating and driving the development of Yuechuan New City. The designed wetland park is the core area of Yuechuan New City. The project aims to create a comprehensive urban ecological green corridor focused on addressing rainwater flooding issues and ecological restoration, while also supporting urban public activities, citizen leisure, image display, and tourism services.

The skywalk is built over three types of habitats: Guoji fishpond habitat, farmland habitat, and island habitat, using minimal intervention to protect the biodiversity of the native wetlands. Visitors strolling along the interconnected ecological corridors can enjoy the perfect ecosystem of fish swimming, shrimp playing, and egrets soaring. Modern viewing towers are integrated with the corridors, providing visitors with innovative platforms to ascend and enjoy panoramic views.

The completed ecological corridor has improved living environments and urban functions, promoting an organic integration of city and nature. It creates an urban memory where people can “see the mountains, gaze at the water, and remember their homeland,” offering residents and tourists places for leisure, educational activities, and cultural entertainment.
