In 2007, Seattle Park and Recreation bought property adjacent to Hing Hay Park to expand the .33-acre park to .64 acres. The design team of SvR and Turenscape was selected for Hing Hay Park’s expansion, and started planning in fall 2013.

For our profession in China, we need to adapt the theories which the western world has developed in the past 50 years, but we also need to invent new theories, new tools because we are facing new challenges.
